Dyed Hair Black. Previous Highlights showing...?

Back in October of 07 I had my hair colored brown w/ gold highlights(pic tak. But because it was lighter it started looking raggedy, and I didn't like contrast of my hair and my eyebrows.

( A year before that I had highlights done throughout my hair as well) In December '07 so I decided to go black. (Revlon ColorSilk #10).

Well, now the highlights I had done previously are starting to show. And I have new growth. I've been using John Frieda's Brunette luminous color glaze so the color wouldn't get too brassy or weird.

So my question is SHOULD I dye it? Or give my hair a rest? I have this itch to dye it, but I'm apprehensive. Colors I was considering are Feria's Expresso or Chocolate. What color would u suggest?

wow! i wish i had a big fro like urs with the black hair i loved that on ur i think ur should give a rest because it could cause chemical damage. but if u decided to go with color i say try chocolate i think it would look nice on u
