do you think i wud look good with streight hair? im thinking about permanately streighting it cuz i really hate my curly hair. im also thinking about getting highlights...do u think i would look too weird with them? here r some pictures...my friend posted them once on yahoo before. i also look younger cuz they're pictures from a year ago.i dont want any comments about if im ugly or pretty cuz I DONT CARE HOW I LOOK...its not lik i can change it. please just answer my questions

i think your hair would look very straight. Before you consider doin that look for a very good staightner like a chi. i have one and it works very good. i think highlights would look pretty but im not sure if blonde would. =)

yeah i think it would look good if you got it straightened and you should go to the hairdresser and ask them about highlights because they know what will look good for you.

Since your hair is dark, I would not go with blonde highlights. I'm not sure with highlights because most of my friends/family who have gotten them have light hair. Yes I think your hair would look good straight, but before you want to perm it, try a straightener 1st. Go to the mall and sometimes they have people trying to sell straighteners and ask them to straighten your hair.

Your hair is gorgeous! I'd love to have hair that long and thick. Maybe if you put a great conditioner in it (try anti-frizz serum), and had it thinned out you might like it better. Try something like that before you do anything drastic like straightening it. Also remember that if you do straighten it you will have to deal with continual upkeep or you'll have frizzy roots and straight ends... very hard to grow out! Good luck, you're beautiful!

well i would get it straightened but not permanently. just go by a Paul brown straightener . i like it better than the CHI. my natural hair is very curly. and i just straighten it. and i almost got it permanently straightened and im kinda glad i didn't. cause i can do so much more with my hair now. and with the coloring....just go to some hairstylist that knows what there doing. and im sure they could tell you what would look good.

First of all don't permanently get your hair straight... As you get older you will want your curls back!

You should just buy a straightener and spray and straighten your hair daily!

If you want highlights pick a color that would fit your hair... you wouldn't want blonde or pink! :b

as for straightening that would look nice but once your hair started growing out you would have to do it again. you can learn to use a flat iron, that is my suggestion. your hair looks pretty fine and i wouldnt do too much chemically with it.

you can get highlights but i wouldnt go blond. i would go light brown at most. just go to a nice place they should be able to help you. you should be able to ask their opinion and they should be able to give you some options.

are you kidding? your hair is glorious! straight hair is so bland and boring. if you really want a change, get some red and blonde high lights, but don't permanently straighten it.

Ur hair is so pretty the way it is it looks wavy not curly tho. but i think u should get highleights. try a really light brown or blonde. if u want a non natural color try red on the tips of your hair or pink.

i have VERY curly and about a year ago i wanted straight hair so i got a flat iron and kept straightening it for a year but now i started to miss my curly hair so i wear it curly alot now.

i think u would look with straight hair also so just buy a flat iron and straighten it when ever u want

i dont think your hair is all that curly, mostly just wavy....i would just use a temporary straightener for now just to see if you like it, that way you will be able to have it wavy again :)

You would look really good with highlights!Just don't overdo it and have blond streaks in your hair. Black + Blond = not working. Trust me, I know. My friend, who had a hair color like yours, recently got red tinted highlights and they looked amazing! Not fire engine red, but a subtle color. Don't permanently straighten your hair. It kills your hair more than straightening it regularly every day.

oh my gosh! you are SO pretty. do NOT permanently straighten your hair! love the hair that you have. my hair's frizzy like yours, so i use biosilk. not only does it add shine to your hair, but it smoothes flyaways and takes the frizz out of your hair.

hey u should have like light or dark brown hightlights that would be pretty. yes with the straight hair u can go some where and get straight hair or u cant sttraight it everyday!

I would would temporarily straighten it and then if you like it, use TRESemme heat resistant spray when it's wet and before straightening. With the bangs I think it would be cute. Don't make it permanent because the curl is classy also.

Honestly, I think because your hair is really dark or almost black, I don't think the highlights will compliment it well. However, if you want to do something about your hair, definately get it straightened. Also, I think getting your hair cut to about shoulder length or a little bit shorter would look totally awesome on you!! Good luck!

Yeah, I would go with short, curly or wavy hair for you, maybe streaks in it. Don't listen to the other women on here, I am a guy, so I have a unique perspective. Keep it no longer then shoulder length, and put some color in it.

i actually like your hair wavy i think you could put spray in it to make it look beachy and maybe a shade lighter highlight, but definately not a lot lighter--but only if you absolutely waant them, truthfully i think the hair color suits you

I think you need to get a lot of the length taken off your hair. Go for a good cut and get it thinned out and you should be able to manage to straighten it easily yourself. Do not highlight it. If your hair is in good condition, then it will be shiny and look healthy. If you highlight it, it will dry it out and make it even more frizzy.
