Hair highlights and lowlights?

I want to get highligths amd lowlights done in my hair. i was thinking carmel higlights becausee i've had them before but i don't know what lowlight color to choose. i've have dyed my hair abrun, but some of it still looks kind of brown. any suggestons on what colors to use i'll gladly take.

carmel is good w/an auburn brown base,you could lowlite w/a vibrant red or if you wanted to change your base to a brighter red-auburn you could do your hilites a medium thickness carmel and lolites in thin sections of black alternate.this look makes the blond and red really stand out and the thin sections of black keeps the look from looking like your head is on fire

I have dark brown hair...I did caramel alone, caramel and auburn together, and mahogany alone(my favortie)...ask your hairdresser what would be best for your hair...good luck!!

i think a dark chocolate color would be pretty with caramel.
