Thin hair and highlights?

I have thin hair. like you can see my scalp. When I was a child I had seizures where my fevers got up to 105 and burned out some of my roots. I am only 37 now. My hair is medium brown and it is an angle cut to the front (longer in front than back) and layers throughout. My question is that I would like to get highlights. I have heard that blonde highlights placed the right way throughout thin hair helps to give the appearance of thicker hair. Is that true?

It is absolutely true! What you should do is get multi-tonal blonde and carmel highlights and it will add the illusion of thicker hair with lots of volume.. also blowdrying your hair with a thickening spray at the roots while your hair is upside down and using a large curling brush will help too.

it can but you have to have someone who knows what they are doing. i would try to look up a color specialist in your area to do it..
