Where should i put hair highlights?

i have sandy brown hair, a little lighter then my avatar's. it is also layered like amanda bynes's in this pic:

i dont have the highlights she has though, and im getting blue, so I want to hear some opinions on where i should put the blue highlights. thanks!

Put it mostly on the bottom parts of your hair, not that top. What I mean is, the hair on the bottom back of your head. It'll look adorable!

just put a few chunky blue highlights in you hair...i would LOVE to see a picture when you get it...even if it isn't what i said you shoud get...=) Good Luck!

at the tips? see if you like it first..then if you do maybe few chunky ones not too close to the roots.but honestly they only look good if you have a darker hair .
