Help with hair highlights?

I have medium-dark brown hair, and im wondering what kind of highlights i should get.?

In the light it looks like i have natural highlights of gold, and sometimes red, so i dont know what kind to get.

GREETINGS, you could really go either way because of the tones in your hair. Right now it's popular with the celebrities to go with the blonde highlights, they do more of the redder tones in the fall.

try going with a lighter color than your hair

I just had my hair done with highlights. I kept my original color(medium dark brown) for a base, and did blond and redish brown highlights. Thin highlights. Everyone likes it.

I think your hair would look great with red highlights. If that is a little to funky for you though, maybe you should try golden highlights. Unless you want a very dramatic look I would steer clear of very blond highlights. :-)
